Great color, great pen.

The weight is the first thing you notice with this beast. Stainless steel is no joke, and the writing quality is great. I have replaced the ball point with gel ink refills. I have to say I'm very happy with the pen and I purchased 2 aluminum pens as well. Love the quality!

I ordered the slim carbon fiber. I have had other bolt action pens. The others perform similarly. What sets this one apart is how bad everyone wants to have it. Anyone that sees it either wants to take it or asks me where I got it. For me I lover the look and feel of the carbon fiber. Best pen I have ever had.

After one week of use, great feel. Replaced the supplied refill with my favorite Parker. Well constructed and solid feel.

Depending on hand size will dictate which is better. The bigger or regular pen has 13 mm barrel which I found hard to hold and write with as my fingers kept sliding down towards the paper. I had to purchase a triangular grip to slide onto the barrel which is either silicone or some type of rubbery material in order to stop that sliding motion. The pen writes great. The only problem I will have is, the grip goes on hard, so it is going to come off hard when I have to change the ink cartridge. The slim pen is easy to hold and grip at about 10 mm in size. It writes great as well right out of the box. I by the way have decent sized hands wearing either a large or extra large glove depending on the glove type and cut. Broader palms but fingers that are not quite a match to the palm size being they are slightly shorter than you would think that matches.
