I received my Bastion Stainless Bolt-Action Pen in the mail and I wasn't sure what to expect. First, the pen arrived in a sleeved, cushioned box. I appreciate production value so that was a really nice touch.
The pen itself is much heavier than I expected. Despite the weight, it has a very comfortable balance in my hand. The stainless steel came beautifully polished with the Bastion logo in fine detail above the bolt-action. Most importantly, the pen writes effortlessly and glides across the page like a dream.
So, verdict? Well, truth be told, the pen is expensive but worth every penny. Clocking in at a fraction of the price of some luxury ink pens like Mont Blanc, the Bastion Bolt-Action makes a bold statement. As a conversation starter in a business setting, it says you're serious about quality, craftsmanship, and detail without pretention. If you're receiving this pen as a gift, the person who gave it clearly respects you and values your relationship.
