I don't understand why bolt action pen manufacturers ever make the bolt move away from the clip to deploy. The bolt ends up 180 degrees from the clip, so either the clip or bolt rubs against the web of your hand when writing. Companies such as Valtcan, Smoothpro and Refyne do it the right way and the bolt rests close to the clip when the refill is deployed. If Bastion corrected that glaring design defect, this would be an outstanding pen. Weight, grip diameter, grip friction, appearance, ruggedness, engineering, simplicity, clip are all fabulous. I don't regret buying this pen, but will need to find a machine shop that can mill a flat, drill and tap mounting holes so I can put the clip in the proper orientation. PLEASE, dear Bastion, correct this design flaw in the future.
